Meadow Lodge is located at the edge of an 8,000 acre ranch on the
Ruby River just outside the town
of Twin Bridges in Southwestern Montana. On the ranch you'll discover
the rich ecological diversity in 12 miles of exclusively private,
easy wading in Leonard Spring Creek, Mill Creek and the Ruby River. Within
three miles of the ranch lies the confluence of the Beaverhead, Big
Hole and Ruby Rivers, which together, form the Jefferson River.
Crane
meadow Lodge has been fifteen years in the making, with a philosophy
that centers around the idea that bigger is NOT necessarily better. Four
extremely
private cabins, complete with queen beds, separate living areas and screened
porches, allow our guests to retreat from their day's exploration in
quiet comfort and solitude.
The Main Lodge sports a relaxing western
atmosphere with a comfortable living/lounge area, complete with fireplace,
and a spacious dining room. Our menu features local specialties with
an emphasis on true western fare. Our staff takes particular pride in
all preparations, especially any restricted dietary requirements of our
guests.
The non-fishing/non-hunting
guest will have plenty of activities to fill a vacation agenda with
historic places to visit like the old ghost towns of Virginia City
and Nevada City and family attractions such as Bannack State Park and
the Lewis and Clark Caverns State Park. Hiking and sight-seeing at
these nearby points of interest are great fun for the whole family.
Watching wildlife and birds on the ranch is another popular activity.
